         Marketing Plan for Powtoon

Presentations are used in the business world to promote, manage, and share new ideas to various people within a company. Having the motivation to advocate an idea is a good way to promote and to convince others to agree with your vision, so that it can become the company’s vision as well. Moreover, if the presenter is successful in displaying their vision, it will result in a thriving synergy system that will aid in the company’s progress as a whole. Therefore, a good way of communication an idea to others within a company would be through a presentation that inspires and engages the audience which leaves them of caught off guard, and more receptive. Presentations that incorporate modern approaches that include, animations, pictures, and new graphics for displaying information are excellent attributes to a successful presentation.

Powtoon is engaging, easy, and professional presentation software that allows you animate your presentation. Powtoon uses animation to enhance a simple boring presentation and makes it easy to understand and user friendly. Powtoon is perfect for marketing businesses and for educators as well as students. Our marketing plan is to use another presentation software or video software such as power point or movie maker to make a short video of how Powtoon can benefit businesses and trainers. This will give them an idea of how Powtoon is excellent at communication by using pictures/animation which can present a more interesting pitch, rather than boring paragraphs.  After making a quick and short video explaining Powtoon and its benefits, we plan on posting the video up on YouTube so anyone can view it. Our second plan is creating a twitter account and use hash tags and pictures to promote Powtoon as well as status updates on the conference. To attract an audience we plan on printing posters that advertises the conference and a handful of presentation software’s being used in our seminar, wherein we will post them in the school and stores around our school.  Another idea we have to promote Powtoon is offer prizes such as gift cards, or coupons to a certain viewer of the video or the user that correctly answers a set of questions about the presentation

Good work, but maybe add some ideas on how you will market/advertise your workshop! For example, using the twitter account or making posters! A lot of this would be good to add into your presentation.

Sen, Good start. Look at some other Marketing Manager and CMO pages to get an idea on how to make the Plan. the info you have is good and your Marketing person can use it now to help make your teams slides. As your are doing a video software, tool, I would think your marketing plan will focus on creating a marketing video for your workshop and the conference. Others can help with content, but perhaps you can at least have a script organized for these videos as part of your plan.

Sen, Why not add some of this material in your overview onto your slides. Did you get info from Tech and WS Managers? You all have to work together now. Look at Content Content Content Blog on the web site too.

Looks like a good logo. Make sure Eryn gets it. It too awhile to download. May want to ask Balaj and chris if it shouldl be smaller if used in main brochure. Perhaps it was just my home computer.

May have to talk to him tomorrow. Talk to Balaj too as not clear who updates the website. Are we going to have a brochure that we print as well as info on the website?
