Risk Analysis

There are a few risks that our group may encounter. The first risk is some group members not completing their work on time or at all. If this happens, the WM and/or PM will discuss it with them and see if they need assistance or help with the task. Another approach we may take, if it happens constantly, is talk to the Executive team or if necessary, Mr. Gill.

The next risk we may encounter is technology not working when we are to present. This is why we will make sure to have a rehearsal and make sure that everything is running smoothly on the school computers. In case the Internet is not working at school, we will be sure to have everything we need on a USB stick.

Lack of communication or motivation is another risk that is bound to come up. Having team meetings and discussing issues at hand as well as possible solutions should help work this out. This will allow the team to work to its fullest potential and deliver a great workshop at the conference.

Time management is of essence in this type of project. To keep the group on track and aware of due dates, the project plan has been posted on the Wiki so that it is easily accessible. Also, good communication between team-members will allow everyone to help each other out, keep on track (time-wise), and have great motivation.

Hi, It looks like you updated some items from the original version which is good and remember to update a final version for April 25. You should have update risks for this version. Your section 2 on the project plan should continue to May 22. You should add the following more detailed items. Scheduled workshop team meetings and MOM, updated risk analysis, all team to add April 17 Proposal material to Wiki and status. Similarly April 25. New risks may come up or may be solved. Perhaps you can have a different heading under each Risk that you are managing? You team should now be giving you more details and issues on their deliverable.

Hi Mr. Gill,
I have made the changes you've suggested and added additional risks.

I like how you have updated your project plan with all the tasks that have been completed. Continue to do this throughout the project!

Thanks Prashanthi!

I think at this rate all PM's should have a Key Things to do list on their Main Team page and use the Conference Calendar that Prashanti has. Also look at the course schedule on the class website.
