Workshop description

     Our team name is The Planning Leaders and our workshop is called Persuading with Prezi. We will emphasis on planning, leadership, communication and efficiency as important skills. The goal of this workshop is to educate you about the fundamentals of presentation and persuasion. Business and capitalism revolves around selling products for a profit. Persuasion is becoming a more important skill as competition in the business world becomes more competitive. Overall, our group is to use prezi to teach you how to be more persuasive and develop better communication skills. The management topic that will be presented is persuasion. It is a fundamental skill to business. "We persuade people every day, whether it’s getting our children to clean their rooms, asking a colleague to help with a project, or convincing our supervisors to give our team more resources." What makes our management topic so useful, is the real life applications beyond the business world as well. The laws persuasions are as follows: law of reciprocity, commitment, and consistency, liking, authority, and social proof. In order to illustrate how to be more persuasive, the software tool that we have chosen to present is prezi. Prezi is a presentation software that is similar to powerpoint, but more creative potential.
