Where is your team?

wow, this team needs to pick up the pace. I will mention it to them in class.

also, is google docs really about communication? I mean the central function of google docs in my opinion is more organization and teamwork with the easy team editing functions.

Thanks for the constructive criticism Kirk

Ryan. Please add a link to Google Docs and perhaps link to an article summary that you could use.

I have uploaded our teams project plan and will soon attach the minutes.

Hi Laura, I think that each individual in the team should have a page of their own.

chris gill said

at 1:31 pm on Apr 20, 2014

Yes. I thought they had. This needs to be done ASAP.

chris gill said

I created pages. You folks can decide what stays on from page, but suggest a page each for your individual material. It will also make it easier for other to find and comment on peer managers.

The schedule is missing key dates and is not updated. I would use project plan and create a calendar perhaps?

Laura said

I have added an action plan, after reading your most recent blog.

Hi. Good start, but more details of who exactly is doing what exactly and when. I also think you are missing some key details like the speaking notes. Are you going to try to make a promotional video? Logo for your WS. Have you checked what CIO and CEO have said about your workshop in their conference material. Can you also upload your most recent PowerPoint on this page so anyone can review. I suggest you include a revision date as well.

Hi, I just realized you have more details in the calendar table. That has more details. You may want to make the calendar into a table with each day showing to be more visual?

Aidan has the duty roster on his page, and we are creating the exact script this weekend. Rachel is uploading her powerpoint on her page as well. I will adjust the callender now.

Is your powerpoint on this page?

Prashanthi said

Can you guys upload the PowerPoint onto this page along with the duty rooster and your workshop logo? I thought that your PowerPoint was very good, but one thing that I would suggest is changing the font color. It was hard to read. Overall, good job!

I added the link to your presentation and I saw that you changed the background. It looks great! Ignore my previous comment, however you still need to upload your Duty Rooster and the Workshop logo.

chris gill said

Can people include the latest date on their presentation so we know to look at the newest version.

chris gill said

at 7:44 am on May 13, 2014

Laura, You action plan does not include due dates and people responsible. I think you are also missing key items for your workshop such as when and who is updating your presentation, scripts, duty roster, logo, etc.

Laura said

I will make the action plan more detailed now. Also, sorry for the miscommunication on the Play Day Date. That was completely my fault and I am sorry about the flaw in my organization. Thanks for understanding Mr. Gill.

Hi, It all just ads to the stories we can share and celebrate once we have done a successful conference. Make sure your plan includes promotional video (see comments), new version of PPT based on feedback (most teams had new version for last Friday), remind people to tweet, comment on wiki, and get teachers to e-mail me to book a period with at least one of their classes.

Aidan said

i have recently acquired a twitter account and now that i have learned the ropes i will tweet more frequently, as for talking to my teachers i will also do that within the coming days

Aidan said

at 12:44 pm on May 20, 2014

oh, also Ryan and i have finished the promotional video and will add it to the presentation

chris gill said

at 6:46 pm on May 20, 2014

Great. Add it to the Wiki and Tweet it out. conference starts in three days. Is it the same as on Ryan's page that I may already have commented on? Did you update?

Rachel said

The video on Ryan's page is our final promotional video! Also Ryan has tweeted the video out.
